About the Artist…

Rose Geiger is an illustrator whose works focus on the intersection of reality and fantasy. Drawing inspiration from folklore and nature, she creates watercolor and ink paintings often incorporating collage for added depth and emphasis. Her small canvases are abundant with detail, beckoning the viewer to step closer into their tiny worlds, whose themes are reinvigorated by experiences from her travels. She uses illustrative compositions that evoke fond memories one may find in the pages of their favorite storybooks and childhood adventures.

She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in painting, minors in Art History and Criticism as well as Business Management, and a certificate in Digital and Graphic Design from the University of Montana in May of 2026. Recent publications include original writing and botanical illustrations for Visit Southwest Montana and The Missoulian, and art for The Oval Literary Magazine. Exhibitions include The BFA 2026 Senior Thesis Show, four University of Montana Juried Shows, the Davidson Honors College Lounge, and the International Baccalaureate Visual Arts Spring Showcase. She has also been involved in coordinating art-centered events on campus and in the broader Missoula area through the Artist Collective and as a gallery assistant for the University of Montana Gallery of Arts. She currently lives in Kalispell, Montana working as gallery assistant for Good Luck Gallery and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
